The Angry Konstruktor

Dan Down - The Steampunk Womble
Got this little bundle of fun for Christmas as I have a habit of taking apart and rebuilding........
So here is something to feed it.

Didn't take long to build to be fair.. Took longer deciding and applying the custom stickers. o_O

There's no doubting it's a cheap bit of kit. But personally, as far as building your own SLR lomography camera I think that this is quite an intricate and very well designed. Straight forward to build and easy to operate.
Two shutter speeds (1/80th sec and bulb) with a set f/10 lens........ Ideal for outside.

Anyway..... I'm already halfway through a role and cannot wait to to get it devd.
Not expecting pin sharp or correctly exposed images, but I suppose that's the fun of Lomo.

The mean looking beast.....

Images will be available soon :)

Thanks for looking :)

I've been tempted to get and assemble one of these, I've got a Gakkenflex TLR somewhere, that was good fun to make and shoot. I'm guessing the results with the Konstruktor should be a bit less 'lomo' than that. although it does have the waist-level finder which I think more cameras should have...

Looking forward to seeing how your roll comes out.

Thanks Andrew,

The waist level viewfinders are brilliant, however this one in particular is quite hard to see through even in bright conditions.
It's nowhere near as good a my sexy Exa I purchased from Hamish. :)

that's not really a fair comparison is it? :-)

Dude - that's monsta!

So, it's like an Airfix camera then?

Cheers Chris.

Yeah, like an airfix, but with a few screw rather than glue. :)
