The Chicken Run

I haven't been around lately due to the pressure of my husband constantly working away, leaving me to do the zoo after an already long day. Things have come to a head recently with yet more visual migraines and I had to drive myself in to work the other day looking through what I can only describe as a broken kaleidoscope. I need a break...

This is a short video I made in our chicken run last weekend, but I won't be taking any more videos or photographs until I go to Cornwall in a couple of weeks. If I come back with anything interesting, it will be processed slowly and put up in here as and when I can find the time.

Apologies for not commenting on all your wonderful photographs - I'm going to miss them... and you. Hopefully I can be back to somewhere approaching normal in a few weeks. We're off to collect some more rescued hens next weekend, but until then, here are Eggy, Madge, Daisy, Lily and Violet

Cheers Chris! I'm sure Cornwall will be great, but I'm worried about the driving combined with the long days. I want to do sunrise near Land's End one day and sunset in the middle of Dartmoor on another day. In the Peak District last year I was doing days of 4.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. and this is looking worse. People at work don't understand and keep calling it a "holiday"
