Starchitect Daniel Libeskind designed the new addition to the venerable Royal Ontario Museum. It's getting mixed reviews from the locals, but it was fun to photograph.

Revolutionary architecture, Darren. Love the 2nd perspective.

Do you like it?
not very space efficient ... I wonder if he left his a model of his intentions somewhere to warm ... It melted, but it was too late to make anything new before he went to the presentation meeting ...
I didn't like the Hive when they first finished it, but you get used to things, then eventually realise you have something pretty amazing on your door step ... A blight of being uncultured I suspect :)
Great shots ...

Nice ones, Darren. I like all three of these images.

Through your images I've decided that architecture shots without people in them are merely buildings. The people in your images add so much by way of contrast as to turn building shots into architectural images. (Which statement should not in any way be perceived as critical of your work, which I love!)

Cheers, all. I think the exterior is more interesting than the interior - which was a bit of a let down after the promise of the street view. The project is somewhat controversial. It was originally supposed to be all glass, but that was vetoed because they were concerned about snow accumulation, and the possibility that it would slide off and create an avalanche on poor pedestrians below.

As for people, I generally prefer them but don't always have the luxury of having them present, and where I want them!
