The Fallen

Well, the fine weather seems like a dream now. The grey clouds have returned. But I do like the combination of dullness with the DP1M. I've just darkened these ever so slightly, to emphasise the dreichness.

This cemetery is not the usual Victorian one I frequent, but this one is very close and was created in the 20th Century, and contains many war casualties. A tree fell down a week ago...

All the reviews about this camera say you have to use a tripod - I haven't used one yet. These pics are ISO 100. I'd probably have to use one for night shots, but so far I haven't felt the need for one. Longer exposures, of course, would be different.

Superb rob, the first for me is the pick of the bunch.
The DP3 will obviously be harder to use handheld. But hey a rucksack carrying a guitar with umbrella whilst it is raining, shooting one handed, I think you've all the attributes to make it a success handheld as well.
The leaf shutter on the dP3 is useful in this respect.
