The Falls Below Our Lake

Okie dokie, another waterfall photo. This waterfall flows out of an alpine lake called Our Lake and drops about 300 feet. I'm wondering when the snow cornice up at the top will fall?

I couldn't hike up to the lake yet because very steep snow blocked the trail.
Another iPhone photograph.

Lovely spot Ralph - so still lots of snow in your neck of the woods then!

So is Our Lake your lake?

Yep, still plenty of snow up high. They opened the road to Logan Pass in Glacier National Park last Saturday. The walkways around the visitor center look like tunnels. Lots of skiers up there. Snow melt here this year is about average though. Nothing ususual. The trail to Our Lake and Headquarters pass is usually free of snow by July first.

Lots of flowers down low. Lots of snow up high. The mountains are gorgeous right now.
