Dan Cattermole
Dan Down - The Steampunk Womble
I have finally completed my shelving unit for my cameras.
The original thread is this one http://www.realphotographersforum.com/personal-projects/12733-just-made.html
Didn't know whether to start another thread or not, but I think that this one deserves one on its own due to how proud I feel with it.

This cost me well above the 70 squid mark all in. Even the super heavy duty raw plugs that take a whopping weight of 25kg each was about 15% of the cost, then there was the paint, screws, brackets, the wood, and a saw to cut it up..... Oh, and the lights from Ikea.
I haven't done much wood work since I was in school, I made my own playable guitar too back then!
When I was in a band, a friend of mine was adamant that I would be famous in the future and begged me for it. So I signed it, and give it him.
But this was great fun! And a great improvement to the living room IMO.
Thanks for looking
