Thanks all. This is the view from the front of the house and that patch of field is often lit by the last rays of the sun (it is actually a field of Oilseed Rape this year - not quite in full flower). I just happened to look out of the window and saw this dramatic cloud scape (with its fearsome face) and so nipped out and took a shot. I lifted the field a touch in Viveza as that was a key element of the image for me also.

So much negativity!
Maybe he likes you Pete. It is possible you know...

I like the green hill, and the flash of blue to the right: helps to frame the core of the photograph. It's a stunning shot.

Two words: "Oh Wow!!" I suppose I could say "Oh Wow Man!," but then I would be dating myself and sadly, I no longer own any tie dyed peace sign t-shirts...

Pete that shot is just absolutely beautiful. I'm with Lesley on the green spot on the hill too.

I have not seen a sky photo that covers 90+% of the frame and be this dramatic, dynamic and beautiful, Pete.
Having only green fields on earth that communicates with sky colors adds to the meaning of this grand image. :)

A beautiful dynamic shot, but worryingly a lot like what Ming the Merciless does to earth in 'Flash!' -watch out!
