The Hermit's Cave and Low-Light Shooting with the QM2

This cave purportedly was the home of the hermit of The Hermitage, outside of Dunkeld, just off the A9 in Perthshire. The midday sun was shining straight down, making it REALLY dark inside:

1. Daughter, Rhona entering



2. Window view. I used the digital blue filter in Lightroom 6 to tone down the bright sun outside.




3. The Q2M made "light" work of the dark chamber. Rhona's boyfriend, Jamie is an architect, making some mental notes. I actually couldn't see exactly where he was.

What an interesting location. That last shot is just wonderful: just the right amount of detail and a good pose too.

What a facinating place, the construction is most intriguing. That is a fine camera to get images that good when you can hardly see.
