Thanks Chris .It was the personality which did draw me too these. The blown out sky was unavoidable but did isolate the character.

I love the blown out sky in these, Julian. (Is that the "high key processing" that Chris refers to?) I saw the second one on Flickr and I thought what a cracker it was. (Must comment!) But that fisrt one is really good, too.
