The profile does work really well here. Good shot all round.

I've seen shorts like this before, and have always thought the pockets just look silly sticking out the bottom like that. Not that you could ever fit anything into them, the rest of the garment being so tight.

But, I'm old and stupid and they take nothing away from the shot at all.

I guess we're being too literal - they must be a design element rather than something that you could actually use - how silly of use to want to put our keys in there!

Yes Pete - loving them so far, although I do find I set grain to Zero to maintain some IQ!
