I'm sure many a Yorkshire man would agree that Yorkshire is the Kingdom of God! That aside, this is a fantastic shot. Not convinced about the grey border, though. I'd love to see it printed large and on a wall. I've mentioned this before, I think we should start a Lone Tree thread - this would make a wonderful contribution.

I'm the wrong guy to ask (not that you are, of course) as I can never make my mind up about borders. A border should enhance the image, and if not should not be there. Of the two above, I prefer the second, but do now feel something is missing. Maybe the very thinnest of black borders, almost unnoticeable? But it's your image, and what a wonderful one it is!

It's a wonderful image which I most certainly would like to have up on my wall. There are always borders Rob, visible or not and this time I suppose I agree with you. But to set borders and even restrict Our makers borders to Yorkshire is a little limited I think. That Kingdom I hope stretches a little farther. A beautiful light and a very good black and white treatment.

no border on this one, it doesn't need it. it's a very strong image that can stand alone.

Superb Nick. I agree the image is so strong it holds up without a conventional border. That is from a border addict.
