Steve, sometimes I think you are a nut But then you come up with a great shot like this. And I do think it is wonderful how you seem wholly committed to capturing your kids in familiar surroundings on an almost day to day basis. Bravo. Keep it up.
Stanley looks like he reckons goofing around in his forest with the other dogs is beneath him. Glenn's probably right about the hips and nose thing too. I bet you could put a whole story book together about these three dogs.
He's 12 now and still can make it for 4-5 hours hiking. He does stop in the shade more than he used to. Stanley has been my best friend for the last 11 1/2 years since I adopted him from a Vet who was instructed to put him to sleep because he had Parvo. Best friend I have ever had. Much smarter than I am (and he lets me know that quite frequently). I honestly don't know how I will go on without him.
