Well it's not all that mighty at just 5000 feet...but it is kind of pretty...
A wide angle looking down at the lodge on -4 degree morning...

A long lens view early that morning...

The night light was always cold...

Just out of curiosity, this is a screen shot.

Weird. They look the same to me. I wonder if the JPEG is cached on your machine.
Well...the JPEG on my machine looks exactly how I wanted it which is very close to your screenshot. Let me try this screenshot of my JPEG...
So...when I upload a screen shot as an attachment...and then open it...it looks perfect?
When I upload as a full screen...it's like your screenshot. I little darker but you still can see the trees. What happened to the original upload file. Software is wacko?

Looks a bit darker but you can see the tree. The thumbnail version when oped looks a bit lighter but it is against a darker background.

This is a screenshot of what I'm seeing on the original post. Is it different for you. Sorry to be bothering you...but I'm confused more than normal.

Lovely Glenn i wish I was there instead of here where it is nowhere near as interesting.
Thanks Paul...we wish we could have stayed longer...or actually forever. We did have them offer us a little place there...however $2.4M  was just a little out of our price range for a vacation home. Besides...Boston ain't bad ya know.
