Very grey and chalky light here at the moment yes,especially on Bodmin Moor, but of course not B+W. Referencing really to objects Rob, I cannot see a reason to remove things from my snap shots.

I know what you mean. Yet when I see those old photos, from the fifties or sixties, even the seventies, there white vans Bedford's , Commer , Morris......., I can enjoy them. On reflection, to enjoy the white van in in photographs in years to come is stretching it a bit. Really I know sod all about photography just click the button and hope for the best.

Keith thanks. you made me think about this a lot. I came to a conclusion in those wondering thoughts. I talk a lot of B**** for a start. Not refering to this pic, but yesterday, there was a superb cloud formation and sunset.
I got a few shots then went higher to a better view but there were poles in the way. Which also got me thinking and I completely backtracked and thought if these come out ok I'll clone the poles out. They did'nt come out well so did not end up using them. Whatever works was my thought at the time.
Like to say thanks for the stimulus to mull over what I wrote.

Excellent - the DP3 seems to suit you. I love the low contrast tonality in #2 (as well as the rock pile). 1 & 4 are also great. I know it's not your thing, but I concur on losing the poles in 1

Thanks Keith. Yes enjoying the camera, hope it's not a honey moon experience. If I took the poles away Blisland would lose there lights
