Hope to see some of you at the show over the 4 days, I am on stand J14 so come along and say hello to us I am working on Monday & Tuesday.
Hope to see you there.

I purchased a few items but never managed to track down the Nikon TC-14E II I wanted :(

Got a nice leather case for the X100.

And a 55mm 3 Stop ND for the Yashy rangefinders.

Great to be back & nice to meet some fellow members Dave & Ian, Hamish, so sorry I missed you to have a chat but it was nice to see you very briefly LOL glad you all had a good time & hope to catch up very soon.
It was a very busy show indeed & there were some strange inclusions as well Costco ???
I visited as a punter on the Sunday as had some meetings booked & had a good look around & thought it not as good as promised and the space between stalls was a bit tight and seemed crammed in, just my thoughts.

It was very difficult to get around, the worst I've known since the first Photography show at the NEC. I was a rather disappointed no Ilford/Harman or Kodak and it would have been great to see a company like Fotoimpex/Adox there as well.

Not a show for film & darkroom users, and I'm about to build a new darkroom with space for 5 enlargers all formats up to 10x8 and also later UV light contact frame/light source for Platinum/Palladium etc.

The framing side was smaller as well, my main supplier didn't attend. It seemed to be more about selling cameras and lenses etc a trend that began in recent years.

Was good to meet up with Andy, I have popped into the Bollington store on a few occasions, I stayed around the corner, and once in the same street :D I do keep an eye on the Bob Rigby website.

I had a meeting with a couple of the guys from Harman whilst I was there ... It sounds promising that they will be back next year with a stand, though dont quote me on that, im reading a little between the lines! it sounds as though they didnt want to commit this year in case it didn't come together since Focus were no longer doing it.

A Kodak Alaris stand would have been cool ... I got my kodak film from Tetenal in the end ...£30 for 5 rolls of portra 400 aint bad in my books!

Gutted Harman/Ilford weren't there. I've got into the habit of heading straight there - chatting with Dave Butcher and buying his latest book - autographed.

with you guys, great shame that film work not covered in depth but that is the beast these days Canon,Nikon et al are only interested in shifting boxes these days. One of our pro photographer customers asked Nikon regards D4s and they did not know the answers ? says something these days! Was gtreat to meet up with members though.

So those that did come to the show, what did you think overall then ???
They are moving hall & dates next year, it will be Hall 5 & 21st to 24th March so a bit later & the hall is much bigger so everything will be in 1 hall but if you can tell the difference it will be a surprise LOL.
