much to my surprise, the booster obtained for less than a tenner, works perfectly. that was the first shot. followed by a couple of tilty ones (up, then down). this is going to be so much fun!

Looking good. I have booster sets for a Sekonic meter and an older Minolta meter. As you say they can be useful for assessing a scene on the screen. They also do mini incident probes and microscope adapters too. Did you get those in your set?

no, just the booster on its own, with instructions in Japanese... but the Booster II seems almost identical despite the cosmetic makeover, and there are manuals for that online at the fantastic Butkus site. reminds me, I should send him some more money
