The seaside in winter

I have just been working on some images I shot yesterday (27th December 2018) in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire with my very trusty old Olympus Pen Lite EPL-3. I used the widest lens setting and an ISO of 400. Images were adjusted in Photoshop for levels and then given an HDR treatment. Personally, the best time at the seaside is during winter. I live about seven miles form here and even closer to other beaches in Lincolnshire. It is a great place to photograph.

Pete, good question. I think that it is a side effect of the treatment to be honest. There are so many variables with this treatment it is very difficult to totally control it.

Another shot of the Humber Estuary at Cleethorpes during a nice run of dramatic weather.

Superb shot Shaun! I think it is a tide time. The picture looks so beautiful! At first sight, it looks like this pic is taken during monsoon season! Is it true..??

Prashant this shot was taken early in the year during a very high tide. No rain thankfully.
