The Shadows (sans Hank) in the Kitchen

Well, I prayed to Ra
And here I thought you were irreligious.

Ra answered your prayers. That is a great set of images. I had seen the cup image on IG earlier today and was looking for it here and you delivered. This set just goes to show that foties are everywhere if you look for them. (And so is Ra. I'm going to start praying to him too.)

I love how that Dodo burd renders on the wall. (Speaking of walls,...did you know you have a lizard in your hoose?)

Lizard? South Queensferry is full of them, crawling everywhere. It must be the hot tropical weather we get around here

Well, if you are going to believe in a god, it might as well be one who brings warmth into all our lives, even if he doesn't visit South Queensferry as often as he should!

The dodo and the mouse (last image) are made from stained glass. When I first met Susan, she made stained-glass things as a hobby. We had a small kiln in the basement, but when we moved back to Edinburgh (from Dundee) we could only afford a small flat, so it had to go, which is a great pity. We have room now, but her interest in the craft has wained. Such is life.

Couldn't agree more.

That's a multi-talented woman you have there!:)

When the sky is not uniformly grey, we do get some good shadows in the house. Unfortunately the sky is often uniformly grey at the moment, but that will change.
