I'm not a fan of this building, it always looks unfinished. While I was working on this all I kept thinking was ' Star Wars'. Although I think this might be a interesting theme to explore with this.

I like this shot of it very much Vic but I agree with you that it looks unfinished. I saw it for the first time in its 'completed' state a week ago when I renewed my passport. I'm not sure I like the London skyline especially at the moment.

I like the way you have used the bridge as a frame. Nice.

I agree Pete, theres some odd stuff going up. This seems to lack the impact of a good solid building. even post war concrete towers had more style!

Interesting. I have never seen or heard about this building. Another one of those learning moments for this 'Merican.

I like the shot because of the contrasts...but the building is...well...unusual. I'd like to sit with the design team and discuss the thought process for the idea.

not star wars, but more like the great intelligence. the architecture looks more like a wing from the sycorax's spaceship. i like the inclusion of people at the bottom, it makes the building look even bigger.

Nicely done - I think regarding the composition that maybe the top of the building and the bridge at the bottom are just a little too near the edge of the shot? Of course, you may have been struggling to get a wide enough angle to get them all in.

For such a huge building it doesn't look particularly monumental does it? Fine image though Vic and the people on the bridge at the bottom is a nice touch.

Thanks all, Tim the bottom has been cropped to the bridge on the very bottom, it seemed to have a little more impact there. I wasn't keen on it with the bridge higher in the shot.

Very nice image, Vic! I like the people at the bottom. They provide a sense of scale and a very effective horizontal counterpoint to the vertical.

A nice shot Vic and spot on PP for me, I've not seen it in the flesh and tbh don't mind if I don't.......belongs in the desert next to Saudi's other showy towers in my mind so Stars WArs fits really well...
