No - I have absolutely no idea either. Having left Curbar Edge at dawn, I had a fruitless trip up Padley Gorge. Not that the place isn't lovely, but the terrain was very difficult and with bright sun all day, the conditions weren't right. I got myself some lunch and headed to Higger Tor.
By this time there was a gale blowing and I wondered if I could get anything useful with the tripod. However, getting to the top of the small slope I found this incredible sight. There was a huge bank of cloud and it seemed as though bits of the leading edge were being broken into similar sized chunks. The really bizarre thing was that these were being rounded at the edges in a very odd way.
I literally had to throw my bag on the ground and grab this shot before the clouds moved. I thought of the title there and then...
