Good idea to shoot it from a good distance, Rob. You wouldn't want the Hexar to become another of its victims!

I like the grittiness here and the view across the normal to the more 'glamourous' part of the city.

Ha I looked on the left looking for ''odd shaped'' building, could not choose between any off them. But yes I remember it well, the concave side concentrates the sun at a certain time and angle to reflect onto the street raising the temperature as a magnifying glass does. from memory they needed to fix the issue.

Brian, like any truly professional photographer, I have a small army of assistants to do all my work for me. As you are doubtless aware, a student's eyesight is expendable, whereas the true artist needs both working fully. It's cruel, I know, but Art Demands Sacrifice (just not mine!).
