There was a film in an old compact I just bought

I just bought a Konica Z-Up 115e to try out for my crap camera series and found there was a nearly fully exposed film in it. It is Kodak VR Plus 200. I remember using VR films when I lived in London in the 80s, but I can't find any info on VR Plus, other than it seems to have evolved into Colorplus. I will develop it the next time I have a film to develop by doubling up in the tank. Has anyone ever used this film or have any idea when it was current?

From one of the subjects, a cruise ship in Norway, I think the film was exposed in 2016/7. The colours looked like out of date Colorplus film, but not too degraded. This was a surprise as I thought exposed film degraded more than unexposed. I decided not to post any images as I am certain the camera came from a house clearance which normally means someone has died.
