Three Dance Shots

Shot these surreptitiously from the audience a week or so ago. Meg's in there somewhere. I had my 7D with me but the dance teacher looked right at me and announced "No Photography!" It wasn't until extremely late in the program that I realized I could use my handy spy camera--my Olympus XA, which was filled with Kodak Ultramax 400 film at the time--as well as an angle-ironpod. (The angle iron that served as a retaining fence to prevent viewers in the bleachers from tumbling headlong onto the floor beneath.)

The first is quite blurry due to camera shake. Don't know what happened there other than I somehow allowed the camera to move. The others I managed to hold firmly enough against the angle-ironpod such that the majority of blur is where it should be,...with the dancers.

It's brilliant though that first one int it ...
Really surreal in a really good way!
You posted it first, does that mean you like it the most?

Thanks Hamish. No. 1 isn't my favorite--#2 is. Actually at first I wasn't going to post #1. But the more I looked at it the more I liked it so I thought I'd post it to see if there was any reaction to it. It looks surreal to me also. It may become my favorite of the three. Not sure about that yet. Thanks again Hamish!
