THREE IN A BOAT, TWO TOO MANY

This was taken a few years ago on the river Tees just below lowforce. My first Digi camera a Konica Minolta Dimage A2 6MB if I remember correctly. It stopped one day and is still on a shelf to this day. Would have loved to had the ability to get it fixed.
The Coracle we had built the previous day to this photo. Twelve years on it is still being used.

The river water has a dark peaty colour which added to the contrast obtained. This is almost as it came out as a raw file.

I think it is a wonderful photo that really tells a story if be it one of immanent sinking! The water does look strange doesn't it? If it wasn't for the splashes it would seem they were floating in black emptiness.

Yes the water is odd, being so dark and peaty coloured and the only photo that did come out with an exposure like this.

I love it! :)

Thanks Lesley , I quite like it but know the characters and situation so a bit close to make a detached judgement.

Brilliant - tells a great story
