Hmmm, I must the tone now! i think maybe the contrast is too high in the B&W one. It was the monochrome look of the original that I liked in the first place but as black and white it lacks something. Maybe toning it bring that back and add some softness. What do you think?

I altered the black and white a few times and to be honest I was never happy with it
