What a super set Glenn. Love the sense of concentration in the second (and the hat) but the first is just wonderful. I especially like the photo within the photo - is that the current proprietor in former times?

The second one...The owner of the restaurant (in what we here in Boston call a "Scally" cap) does crosswords at that table every morning. He's one of those guys I'd love to sit and have a beer with as he's been here since I was a kid.
The first one...Mr @Pete Askew you always surprise me with your eye. I was trying to get out of the window reflection to get that background picture in today's shot. I thought it was my little secret.
It's a photo when he opened the shop.My bloodline is half Italian...I spent many days in the 70's discovering Italy. I walk these streets now...the streets of my youth...with a much better understanding.
