And, coming to a screen near you soon, the long-awaited, soon to be Oscar nominated, sensational, E coli growing on an agar plate!

Well, at lease the setup is interesting!

Panasonic AG-AF101 + Zeiss 50mm Macro Planar CP.2 on a Devere copy stand and using Flolight panels. Interval set at one frame every 2 minutes for 18 hours. The plate was held in the transparent incubator. This should be running at 37ºC but, annoyingly, the temperature controller packed up just before we started filming. The test run was therefore done at ambient temperature. When I get back I will compress the video and post it. You will be underwhelmed! The final video will be used by a customer but we should have a better version to show as well as soon as the controller has been repaired.

That's a Leica Jaguar compact camera I'll have you know (with a Bowens end cap balanced on top). Nothing but the best!

E coli was just for the test shot (as it will grow at a lower temperature). The main 'feature' will use MRSA!
