Tintin Et Milou

It's a pity she couldn't get anywhere in Scotland, where there would be no course fees. She got an offer from Dundee, but the course is mainly computer-based - not something she is interested in. And she rejected Glasgow before they could make a decision, as the head of the design department confessed to never having done design before. He is a sociologist, more interested in social engineering, and the "productless product". He laughed at Rhona, saying there were only two places worth studying design, Glasgow and Goldsmiths in London, "And you'll NEVER get into Goldsmiths!". She was sitting there thinking, "Well, I already have an offer from them, and you're an idiot". So, Northumbria is her first choice, Goldsmiths second.

What an ass!

Cheers, Tom. Susan did her PhD on the first Scots language dictionary - a massive publication in many parts. Only about two per cent of it survives in the language today.

Love the expressions and concentration Rob - did they even know you were there! :D

From your original link I explored a little further and read Susans biography on Glasgow Uni webpage. So interesting and she obviously carries out very challenging work.
That woman has a way with words I bet:)

Words don't always come easy, so I'll just say that the photograph of the two, is very intense and very well executed for a man who wasn't even there. Since being a Norseman, I can't very well indulge myself in your conversation as we are known to rape ( it means burp as it's written in Norwegian ), and plunder.
