Tivoli Model One Radio

Just wanted to give a positive write up for the Tivoli Model One Radio.

SWMBOs plastic fantastic radio had ruined it's last song this week, and finally died, so the race was on to find a suitable radio for her workspace at the office.

Radio reception has always been as issue, as she's buried in a nice steel framed building, so I was after a decent radio receiver, which could take an external FM Dipole, not take up much space, sound great, look 'cute', and be able to take the feed from an iPod...

Model One delivered on all fronts - I was very impressed, as was SWMBO.

FM Dipole did a good job pulling in a weak signal - iPod connected through 3.5mm jack - normality restored

Can a second speaker be added for stereo? Does look quite good.

They certainly use to do second speakers for them!
Really nice quality gear the tivoli stuff!
We used to sell it at the shop, unfortunately the high value and low mark up meant we stopped ...
I'd love one for the kitchen here ... We have a very cheap thing that will only hold am tuning. Virgin radio - or absolute as it appears to be called these days is all we have access to!

Yep, they do additional speakers still - and a sub as well

The Model Two is the stereo version (clever name eh!)

We've owned one of these for many years and love it, as well. There are also other versions that accommodate CDs, iPods, etc.
