Took Sadie a Walk,...Then This!

Those of you elsewhere may not know that here in the USA there is something of a brewing revival happening. Micro-breweries have been springing up all over the country and some have grown to become rather large.

I am a Guinness devotee! And I consider a good crisp pilsener delightful! But essentially I am an India Pale Ale man. I would never have purchased this one because its label calls it "Brown Shugga' Substitute Ale" and I am predisposed generally to despise sugar as an adjunct to the brewing arts. However, this is one fine ale! Indeed, the finest I have tasted from this fine micro brewery.

I think I will take Sadie for a walk again tomorrow.

Brian, this is inviting. The color, the barm, the presentation, the separation. It needs a sequel in the coming days. :)

Wow, it's 7 in the morning.... And I want one of those.. NOW.
Thanks Brian. You fault :D:D

Brian...One of my favorite things to do is try small batch brews from local places. Across the water from our place is Harpoon and of course there is Sam Adams down the street. One of the recent ones I've tried and loved has a story...just another reason for living in Boston. Check out this video...

I like the humour in the labelling. Very nice, Brian. I don 't drink alcohol, but it does look thirst-quenching!
It was thirst quenching, and also delicious. (I admire you for not drinking alcohol, Rob. It means there's that much more left for me. ;))

Thanks for posting the video, Glenn. I enjoyed it a lot. I must see if I can find New Albion locally. If I can't, do you have an extra room in your place?;)

Mmmmm tasty - I can see a series of shots over the next week ;)

Luckily I haven't got round to this until late afternoon. And as I am now sitting at home with my feet up, a fire roaring away and Ricky-Lee Jones on the, newly upgraded, turntable I may well join you! ;)

Nice shot by the way! :)

Thanks, Pete. What are you drinking?
