cant answer ya ?????? mate........this was an accident, lol i was passing around 10pm a few years back, noticed this fiery sky, so jumped out & ratteled off some shots quilcky...it was gone momenst later....!!
It is possible that your automatic white balance sees the sunset as being an incandescent light shot and tries to do a daylight balance. If the camera allows it, try the next one manually set upon "daylight". It might not be your fault.
