Tree in Motion IV

Just one more. Still mulling these over but I do find the chaotic patterns fascinating.

Thanks Rob. Yes, this was a different tree. It had less branches and was closer so I am shooting up at about 60º with the sun low, but in front of the camera rather than behind. These were actually the ones I had set out to shoot but I became engrossed in the movements of the others.

Here's the most extreme variant. Identical tree and position as above!

Fewer branches, Pete, not less  LOL. Happy to correct you for once :o

Love that last one even more - great sweeping energy across the frame.

I like the symmetrical central branch structure with the moving sub sections on this, Pete. :)

Pete very interesting and I certainly like them and the idea. They do have a resemblance to water reflections but more classy and intriguing.

Definitely the best in the series. I like the abstract nature of the leaves yet you can still make out that there are branches. A very nice modern art type of piece.

Pete, I had the same thought as Rob: Its fewer not less in that instance.:p

Seriously, I love these. The first especially; the tree tunk seems to anchor the image.
