The effect in #1 is superb - very dreamlike I think - rather like it

#2 is excellent in a more conventional way

What you need is a camera where you could change the ISO at will..... :D
 
Another interesting comparison Brian. If I'd just seen No 2 I would have loved it but No 1 has so much more but in a more abstract way. I like the way the figure in the left is moving try and share (get in on) the moment being shared by the two dancers on the right. And the element of mystery about what is happening on the stage as directed by the light (both the lamp itself and the stage lighting). I really do enjoy these stage-side photos so much Brian.

Changing the ISO at will!! You'll be wanting instant review next Chris!!
 
Thanks very much again, Pete. I was very pleasantly surprised by the colors that the Kodak 800 speed film yielded under side-stage lighting conditions. With the XA, that film, and the girls as the subject matter, the results were a real pleasure.
