Botanic Gardens again. D700, 28mm 2.8.D. LR6.

I made the square formats in Elements, as I haven't figured out how to do specific formats when cropping in LR. Please let me know how to do that, if you know.

Trying to familiarise myself with colour control (mainly HSL) and B&W renditions in LR. Not quite got there yet, but enjoying the ride.

Shhhhhhhh I'd have not noticed. In fact it doesnt bother me now I know. I like the colour version I am used to blotches.
When you use the crop tool in LR Rob you can set the ratio's from the panel or make your own and save them as a pre-set.

Both very effective, Rob.

You can crop to a specific aspect ratio in the crop tool. Under Crop and Straighten there is a menu called Custom which contains a number of options.

I also though the purple (and green over near the building) was due to fringing. You can remove this in the Lens Corrections Panel and there are sliders for both pure and green. You can also sample the colour of the fringing with the dropper in case white balance or something has shifted (as might be the case here).

Now as the technicalities are dealt with, I can jus say that I prefer the bl+wh version. Quite nice my good man, and as said before. Using this lens wisely, makes it a very good lens:rolleyes:
