Thanks, Rob. No I don't own it and I no longer have possession of it. I took this image back in March of this year, but I never posted it because around that same time Nihat had coincidentally posted a really impressive image of this same wing of the building, and I didn't want to appear to be copying him.Really looks beautiful, as does the shot - that is your best camera, I think, Brian. Do you own it now, or is it still on loan?
Me too. I'd like it of he came back.Got to get yourself one...
I miss Nihat - would @Nihat work??
Thank you, Aldous.A very nice shot Brian
Wonderful shot Brian and, although it is a shame that the wing is used no longer, the absence of people add an almost religious feel to it. Nice.
Please pass along my warm regards to him, Lesley.I am in regular touch with Nihat by e-mail. I still miss his images in here though...
Yes it does look a bit like a cathedral, Andrew. Thank you for the comments.that's a beautiful building, and a great shot of it, lovely colours. It does rather have the look of a religious building to it.
Thank you, Chris. As I mentioned to Rob in an earlier post, I no longer have the Mamiya 7. I wish did--Actually, I'd like to have one of my own. It is solely responsible for the exposure settings in this image. All I had to do was compose and remember to focus. Thanks again, Chris.Fabulous image - love the play of the natural light on the far wall, and the pools of sunlight on the floor
This is a really well exposed image - lots of feeling and lots of detail
