Hi guys...I have seen this on a FB group and wondered what exactly it is.

Can anyone shed some light (pun not intended) onto this interesting contraption, please? Much appreciated indeed!

Just learned this is a 1912 German made projector, for 35mm film, frame by frame , manual. Interesting !

I was going to say some kind of projector, going by the exposed (i.e. not light-proofed) sprocket wheels. Never seen anything like it though.

I would have guessed something like that. Wonder where the take-up / feed is though.
