Vancouver Light

Another view of Yaletown / Westend, Vancouver, this time from near the ferry terminal on Granville Island. It was cold and raining at the time but the sun had broken through the clouds behind me and were lighting the tower blocks of Downtown.

You definitely have a colour style, Pete, one that I love and envy. How much is that from the camera, and how much from your pp skills? It's that sort of golden-brown-russet kind of colour...love it.

Thanks Rob. The contrast in light and shade are pretty much as was and the light definitely had a golden glow (although the DNG is a lot flatter of course). However, this was enriched using a cross-process simulation plus a bit of glamour glow which pumps up the yellow tones, especially in the shadows.

Try CP L05 + GG 60% Glow, -30 Saturation, 30% warmth.

I usually add a curves adjustment as well in LR.
