Velvia 100 + Holga

As in, no I've not done it, and I can't remember anyone else here having done so. But I might be wrong!

Yeah, I'm a bit worried because Dave the photographer instructor where I work (and camera snob) told me it wouldn't be good in a Holga because it supposedly only has 1/2 a stop of latitude either way. With a Holga you are stuck with an aperture and shutter speed. But I will probably try it out anyway... :) The Porta doesn't have enough contrast.
 
I think you have a good chance of getting some pretty iffy photos. It's a lot of cash for such lovely film to be shot through something so low quality.
Why not try a cheaper colour neg film? Kodak ultramax for eg?
