I've got one exactly the same Dave. I carry it around with me.......... Have done for years. But I've never been able to work out what that "hook" is all about?????

I used to have a 'Leatherman' good kit but someone made off with it, B'stard :(

The Hook tool is a 'Packet Carrier' apparently ???? according to the blurb..........:D

Oh and a Nice Pack shot Dave

Thanks Kev ............ Now all I need to do is find a packet of something that needs carrying

Mmmm lovely swiss precision

I often absent-mindedly play with mine whilst on calls, and end up with cut fingers!

I have a leatherman squirt s4 that goes everywhere with me Leatherman multi-tools: Squirt S4
The scissors are perfect for neg cutting!
I also used to have a huntsman ... I got lost a long time ago now though. As a youngster in the countryside who liked camping and other outdoor activities such a tool was very useful!
these days, in the city, a pair of scissors, little blade and a couple of screwdrivers is all I need.
In fact just the other day it came in very handy when the door handle on the front door of my house came off as I close the door ... Basically without it I would have struggled to get back in! :)

As a kid I used to have loads of knives ... Some what of a collection in fact
One of the faves of the time was the Opinel - tarnished like anything, but it was very easy to keep sharp!

The Opinel Knives, though pmitive have first class blades.

.............. have always carried a knife, you just never know when it'll come in useful. I can remember flying on scheduled flights and them not batting an eyelid about it being in my pocket........ Now, you try that and you'd get a H&K MP10 shoved up your snout quicker'n you could say "Waazzzzuuuppp".
