Today i bought a vintage 1950's View Master and while I was searching for vintage slides I found a website that will convert photos into 3d viewmaster slides !!!!

I of course have to try it lol

it's a thing of beauty Brian, totally mint condition and i've dated it between 1950-55 and it came with 2 smokey mountain slides

it's weird Glenn, I went past all of the vintage cameras on offer and straight for the View Master

it was the viewer I got Chris, that camera does look lovely though.... I may have to have a look

Loved my view master as a kid. I had loads of picture discs and even a Talking view master which had small record diiscs on the back of the Picture disc.

the bit I found interesting (apart from i love vintage) is I am able (if I choose) to have my own photos converted to 3d and put on reels

This is quite remarkable actually. Depending on the cost of conversion, it might be worth looking for a few old view masters. Davie, just so I know we're talking about the same thing, the viewmaster you have takes picture discs like Glen alluded to. Like below, right?

yep that is indeed what we are talking about mine is black bakelite

it would be a fantastic way for people to view the images in 3d
