Voigtlander Vito B - first roll of film

My film (http://www.flickr.com/photos/austinohara/7257222600/in/set-72157629867082800/) developed by PhotoImaging (PI) arrived today. The last time I had film developed was 32 years ago!

These sample shots were purely experimental using the Voigtlander Vito B, the Sunny 16 rule and Hamish's notes on zoning for the first time.

I told PI not to make any changes since I had documented all the shutter speed, aperature and focus settings for each shot. Fujifilm Superia 200 was used and I should have set the shutter speed to 1/300 for all shots instead of 1/125.

I am delighted with the camera and PhotoImaging who provided the negatives and a CD with contact sheet embedded in the CD cover!

Congratulations Austin. It must be great feeling not having used film all these years and to have come straight up with the statue image.

Excellent - came out very nicely

Thanks Gavin. My first worry was that the camera would be a dud.
No matter the shutter speed the Vito B gives a quite sshhh sound.

Something great about using an old camera. Glad I'm not the only one that appreciates it. Does take some getting used to after all the fake digi sounds.
