Great Dougie; everything well placed. I enjoy having sight of the town in the distance and the hills looking over it behind. There is a nice bit of drama in the picture too.

The "town" you pick out is actually Edinburgh, with the island of Inchkeith in the foreground. It always amazes me just how much a short telephoto lens compresses perspective...
 
And the ski run on the left of the hills. Quite a giveaway if you know Edinburgh. Good shot, Dougie. Where were you? Aberdour? Kinghorn is too far up the coast.

This shot was actually taken from the shore at Leven...the sea wall to the right was built around the old Power Station at Methil...!
 
I agree with most people here and especially with Pete. I feel that nature without elements of people kind of lack something at times. Here I find all the ingrediences are where they should be. Wonderful DOF. Very good black and white work too.
