I too like number 4, but they are all excellent. Smoke coming from a narrowboat chimney always makes a photo "alive" somehow.

May I ask which canal this is?

I had better add that normally the only things that see this part of the canal are farmers or boaters the hamlet I cut through to here is a dead end and although on a main road is normally ignored I've walked it a few times and never met anyone except the farmer (normally get a cuppa there) which is why its so unspoilt

We've been through Stone by boat a few times. I love the T&M canal.

except this stretch I prefer the Caldon or Mac for photography in the summer the T&M is full of hire boats around here at weekends although next year were likely to be on one of those hire boats
