I had a beautiful walk through Arthur's Seat (Edinburgh) today, and took the opportunity to experiment with shooting into the sun. Same but different...

Nice Rob - you're on a roll! I like all of these but the last is my favourite because of both the figures and the light on the path. And the perfect leading line. Wonderful stuff.

Yep - the figure makes it on #3 - lovely breaking of the rules shot Rob, the sunburst adds lots of atmosphere, and the sky is killer.

Were you using the CPL?

Aye 3rd yet i actually really like the darkness of the second. If the sun was cropped out & the just appearing woman cloned out i think it would look magnificent on a living room wall.

the third is my favorite because you can see more of the path. the sun coming over the mountain is gorgeous, love the sense of scale given by the walker and their dog too.
