War Photo Centre - Old Town - Dubrovnik

If your ever visiting Dubrovnik, Old Town, Croatia, there's a fantastic exhibition 'War photo centre'. I got speaking with one of the Austrailian photographers who's War images where on show, wow very striking, all black n' white and each image was around 30x20 inches, the usual grainy/gritty effect which was superb and conveying. This photo exhibition is a must!!!!

I asked him which camera and film he used but he wasn't sure and seemed not overly fussed on the actual equipment or film as he said, "A camera is just like a hammer capturing the exact time, not sure if it was Ilford or Kodak, it's really not that important".

I shot this advertising for the War photo centre at the bottom of the street in the Old Town, Dubrovnik.

Interesting and a nice shot too.

As to his comments, of course the camera / film are essentially unimportant but I think this is becoming a bit of a mantra (I am a great photographer and so I can use anything). However, I'm pretty sure he probably knows exactly what he used and why! As he should.
