What does 10 FPS actually look like?

It’s not uncommon for digital cameras to have burst modes as fast as 10 frames per second these days — especially in mirrorless and pellicle mirror cameras — but do you think you have a good understanding of just how fast 10FPS is on a DSLR?

YouTube user krnabrnydziobak, pointed a Phantom Miro eX2 at a Nikon D4 to see what 10FPS looks like when captured at 1920FPS.

It's an amazing ballet of moving parts - no wonder mirrorless is the future! ;)
 
It really is remarkable that those several mechanical actions can happen so quickly and that cameras with such shutter mechanisms last as long as they do.
 
what they need to do is come up with a cunning new technology, to do away with the whole mirror malarky.....

Yep I know, crazy talk! :D
