I apologise for the quality of the pic but the subject is, perhaps not surprisingly, a little 'twitchy' (sorry, couldn't resist it ) and is very reluctant to pose - perhaps not helped by how how close the feeder is to the window.
Please take a look and see if you can identify the bird - I know what it is and wonder if you think it's obvious.

I would guess at a baby chaffinch??

It's a Dunnock with an unusual white feather on the wing.

Mmm, wasn't too difficult then . If there was a prize it would go to Glen.
I've been interested in birds (of both varieties ) for a long time and never seen anything like this. Any idea how unusual such variations are?
He is a regular visitor and often accompanied by his lady friend who seems (as far as one can tell ) blithely unaware of his oddity.

I've seen quite a few different species of bird with odd white feathers, especially crows, but I think that's the first Dunnock I've seen with a white feather.

Here's a Moorhen I saw a couple of years ago.
