which version of Photoshop, to create a watermark logo?

I just want to create a savable watermark file. following on from my troubles elsewhere

Id have thought a png was on the cards, either would be fine for that..

How about a brush preset in PS for a watermark. I use one of those at times?

the only software I own at the moment is Aperture, and Photo Mechanic

Which extra software will do the watermark for me?

I would go down the lightroom route I only very occasionaly use photoshop myself though so others might have different ideas

Elements would certainly be the cheapest ... Or gimp ... If its just for watermarks

any of them will work for you. i use photoshop cs6, but lightroom works too. use whatever software you already have.
