Who Are You Looking At, 4 Eyed!?

Dan Down - The Steampunk Womble
My place of work had a clear out and come across this Polaroid Studio Express 485b camera. And as my management know that I have GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)...... They kindly had me in mind and donated this to me...... Considering it was going in the skip.
This was used for the Identification Cards for the employees before digital was in place, or at least affordable.
My gaffer told me that this has been on the shelf for at least 12 years......... Should of seen the dust I wiped off it .

It produces 3.6 x 3.43cm of 4 images, perfect for passport shots. The 4 lens apertures vary simultaneously from f/8 to f/32.
Unfortunately the flash is nowhere to be found. But this only has one shutter speed setting at 1/60th sec, ideal with this flash......
As for the timer on the back. I'm not sure if that is a timer to maybe peel the film when it's out..... I'm sure someone will be able to fill me in on that one as there is no bulb mode on this.
And it has a distance tape on the bottom too!! Brilliant.

Now, for the quadromonster!

It be interesting to see what I can get out of this...... Certainly not a camera to stick in the pocket though as it is massive!

Here a a couple of samples I've found on Flickr. I unfortunately do not have the caps to go over the lenses to do these type of exposures (lost with the flash) but I'm sure I could make some....
