I do think the elongated crop works well. Fine detail and dark to white tones. Superb Rob and quality all over.

Thanks, John. It's not very sharp when you zoom in to the original, as it was hand-held. But I think it's all the better for not being too sharp.
Julian, the elongated crop was done in-camera when I chose the 21:9 format, which I love. One of the best reasons to buy the Quattro! I did increase the contrast a little in LR. And I also used a circular polariser to soften the lens a bit. I love the sharpness of these lenses, but sometimes you need to soften them. Glad you like it.

Yes I wonder about some of your presented crops that they maybe in camera. I'd love a quattro zero, maybe one day. Yes I find the sharpness with the Sigma lenses often too much along with the crispy Merrill files. I attempt the negative fill light on Merrill files, but sometimes it looks like glamour glow. Often hit and miss.

Agreed. The negative fill light can be magical, but often the opposite. Hence my use of the on-lens filter at times.

Gorgeous shot, Rob and I too am a fan of that wider presentation. It somehow gives more attention to the central flower.
